A SUMMER UNDER THE STARS AT THE PUNTA FALCONE ASTRONOMIC OBSERVATORY.EVERY FRIDAY AT 9.30 p.m.During the course of the evenings, with the telescope inside the dome we can admire the main celestial bodies of our galaxy, the Milky Way: double stars, nebulae, open star clusters and globular clusters. But no less interesting is learning to recognise the stars of the summer sky with naked-eye observations. Starting from the northern constellations, which are always visible, with the reference of the North Star, we will travel with our eyes along Ursa Minor and Ursa Major, the 'summer triangle', with the stars Vega, Deneb and Altair in the constellations of Lyra, Swan and Eagle at the apex, and then travel along the zodiacal belt, starting from Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and up to Sagittarius. In addition to participation in the Friday evenings, it is also possible to book visits for private groups on the other days of the week, with the observatory being opened exclusively.Reservation is compulsory: given the limited capacity of the dome, shifts will be organised for access to the telescope, based on the number of places available.Contact details: 320 4126725You can call during these hours: - Monday to Thursday inclusive: from 6.30 p.m. onwards. - Friday from 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday all day.
